Interested in joining a professional dance company with a 7-year tradition of hip-hop dance?  Funkanometry SF is holding auditions on Dec 5th, but a bit differently than we have in previous years.  This year, auditions will be held in conjunction with Company Class taught by Executive Artistic Director, Emerson Aquino.  See below to learn about the audition process if you’re interested in auditioning:

AUDITION PROCESS = Company Class + Audition + Interview

1. Click here to download the Company Info Sheet. Read the sheet completely.
2. Click here to download the Audition Application Form. Complete the form with your answers by typing your info directly into the form. (You can press ‘tab’ to get to each section of the form.)
3. Print your completed Audition Application Form and sign & date at the bottom.
4. Click here to download the Waiver. Print the Waiver and fill it out.
5. Bring your completed forms to Company Class with you on Sunday, Dec 6th.
6. Register for Company Class at the front, and turn in your application at the table.  You will be given a number.
7. Take Company Class regularly (this is the audition piece!).
8. After class is over, you will be asked to do the piece in small groups to be video taped for your audition.
9. The judges will meet and will make a cut.  We will announce who is cut that night.
10. Those who make the cut will be asked to return the following night (Monday) to do a short interview with the Funkbrella directors from 7-9pm.
11. After the interview, we will make our final decision and will post the results on our website, www.funkbrella.com.
