Adrian Causing began his technical dance training studying Jazz, Modern, and Ballet with the performing arts company, the American Dance Theater of New Jersey, where he earned the role as dance captain. While performing and choreographing throughout NJ and NY, Adrian became a company member and choreographer for Culture Shock, NY, an international hip-hop dance company with chapters across the US, Canada, and the UK. Most notably, he performed for Culture Shock San Diego’s Choreographer Showcase, a prestigious international exhibition. In addition to appearing on Season 4 of MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” with “FR3SH”, Adrian Causing is currently the Founder and Executive Director of the FR3SH Dance Troupe, LLC. Founded in 2003, Adrian has created one of the most recognized hip-hop dance companies on the east coast, winning first place at Culture Shock D.C.’s “East Coast Dance Competition 2008,” exhibitioning at Funkanometry San Francisco’s “The Sockhop”, and performing at the famous “Carnival: The Choreographer’s Ball” in New York City. Adrian has become a sought after choreographer and instructor, teaching master classes and workshops in Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Ottawa, and Toronto. He has also produced various shows such as “Prelude: East Coast Dance Competition” with America’s Best Dance Crew’s “Team Millennia”, “FUNKy FR3SH”, held at Touch Night Club in New York City featuring Melissa Reyes from the WB’s “Search for the Next Pussycat Doll”, and is the executive director of “The Main Event”, a national hip hop dance competition.

Born and raised in North County San Diego, Jeff Morales has dedicated many years to his love and passion for hip-hop dance. He first became interested in dancing while attending Mt. Carmel High School. There he danced alongside his classmates and friends in annual Airband competitions in 2003 and 2004. Following this, Jeff spent his next few years on the San Diego based all-male dance team ‘Formality’. Then, in 2005, Jeff became a member of the small dance team from San Diego: ‘Choreo Cookies’. Since then, Jeff has been a great help to the group’s success by not only contributing choreography to some of their award-winning medleys but also by becoming the team’s co-director. In the four years that he has been a member of ‘Choreo Cookies’, Jeff has furthered his leadership outside of his team with credits including: Co-directing a special needs hip-hop dance team, continuing in his fifth year as a dance instructor at Studio 429, and most recently as a co-director of the junior hip hop dance team ‘Tru-Definition’ since their 2008-2009 season. Through these past years, Jeff has developed a sincere joy in being a student and teacher of hip-hop dance. He has been an inspiration to many individuals who also share a love for dance and creates a positive atmosphere for other dancers through his leadership, encouragement, and loud laugh.

Chris was raised in Boulder, Colorado alongside many of his BreakEFX brothers, and although he was introduced to dance by his older sister, sought after choreographer Mariel Martin, we are pretty sure Chris came out of the womb tapping his feet to the rhythm and contemplating choreographic complexity! School didn’t always come easy for Chris but the movement and ‘eight counts’ did, thus by the age of 15, Chris was performing professionally and turning every head in the Colorado dance community. Chris lives a life amerced in performance art and the culture of hip hop with a simple goal to prove to his parents that a life can be successful in dance. As one of the originating members of BreakEFX Crew, Chris currently resides as artistic director. Following his high school graduation in 2009, Chris spent a week teaching in Canada followed by a life changing year-long teaching/performing endeavor in Norway for the internationally infamous ‘The Vibe’ dance studio. Chris attributes his dance education to Dee-Rawk Steez, Ken Jimenez, Keone Madrid, Eppie Deleon and his sister Mariel and has credited work for Boyz II Men, MC Hammer, Coolio, Young MC, Eve, Denver Nuggets (NBA), and Colorado Crush (AFL). Chris is the presence of BreakEFX, the motivator, and the calm voice of creativity.
